Bradford on Avon Arts Association aims to encourage the enjoyment of all things artistic, especially fine and applied arts, sculpture, architecture and literature. The Association also supports other local organisations.
Talks
Meetings are at 7.30pm in the Wallington Hall on the first Sunday of the month, from September to June, with talks from professional speakers. Entry is £3 for members and £5 for non-members. Topics are wide-ranging; you might hear a talk about Caravaggio, Gothic architecture, the Life of Shakespeare, or watch a film about the Art of Barbara Hepworth.
Coach Trips
Regular coach visits are organized to galleries, exhibitions and other places of interest. Members have travelled to Dulwich Picture Gallery, Strawberry Hill House, Compton Verney, and have had river trips in the Wye Valley and down the Thames to Greenwich. London and Oxford are regular destinations.

Supporting other groups
The Association regularly makes donations to other Bradford organisations. We have assisted the Arts Festival, Bradford Choral Society and recently the Wiltshire Music Centre Creative Learning Project which works with children with profound learning disabilities.
